Can I brag about a mini goal?
30 days ago today I received my 30 day shred DVD in the mail.
I told myself I was going to do this for 30 straight days-no excuses.
Today is day 30 and tonight I do the DVD for the 30th time (unless I get hit by a bus because I am jinxing myself).
When I first put that DVD in, I thought there was no way I could do it. Each time I was ready to go up a level, I thought I couldn't do it.
But, I did it. Despite house guests, DH being out of town, AF, missing favorite shows-I did it.
I didn't lose huge lbs (I lost a nice about due to the combo of the DVD and WW, but I struggle (read WW thread for that)).
But, I did it and I'm proud of myself.
I'm going to keep doing it. I'm waiting for the Cardio Max DVD to arrive and then I plan to alternate. Also, I am going away this weekend so I won't do it for 2 days but when I get back I plan to set another goal and hopefully hit it too.
Thanks for letting me share!
(Oh, and just to brag a little more while I'm at it, I'm down 28.2 lbs total since I joined WW in Feb )
Okay-I'm done being proud of myself, time to focus on the next goal-35lbs total and 30 days of shred and cardio max

That is AWESOME. I MEAN that. I always read on here people trying one fad or another... it doesn't work. what works is just consistently moving your body and making healthy food choices. It's a LIFE change. I hope this doesn't sound weird but I am SO PROUD of you for sticking with it!! You know, I started working out and found something I liked and stuck with it and now it’s 19 years later and I still do it.
A success story is living healthy NOT the number on the scale!

The funny thing is that I actually HEAR her voice in my head when I'm doing C25k.
I hear her saying "You're almost there! When you're close to the finish line, you don't give up. That's when you give it MORE than you started with..."

Nice work! You should be so proud of yourself. And keep celebrating these mini goals. We can't hit our main goal without hitting many mini goals along the way. Good for you!

Thank you all so much-I just finished my 30th work out in 30 days
Got home from a work function at 9:15, put my DD to bed and dragged myself to the workout. I am beat, but I did it!!!

Of course, the trick is now to keep going-day 31, 32, 33 etc etc etc
