For those of you who use CBEFM?

So this is my first month using the CBEFM and I'm on CD18. I had a few low readings and then on day 10 it jumped to peak, day 11 was peak again and then day 12 was high. It has been low every day since but hasn't asked for a stick since day 15. What's confusing me is that I'm also temping and haven't seen any spike in my temp yet...My cycles are on the long side 30-39 days so I'm really confused by the peak days so early in my cycle....so do you think the CBEFM is just off since it's my first cycle using it??

oh - now you have me scared. It is also my 1st month temping and using the CBEFM. I got the same exact thing....Day 11, 12, 13 (peak, peak, high) and then a couple days low and now it stopped asking for sticks so I stopped BD. The months before I used ovulation tests and my day was always day 13-18. My temps did slightly increase on those days that the CBEFM said were the peak/high days but nothing significant (from 97.3 to 97.5-97.7). Should I be worried that it wasn't right? I posted almost a similar question a few days ago!!!

It's possible that you're spiking your hormones, which the CBEFM is picking up, and then not Oing. This was my problem. I'd go by your temps over the CBEFM because temping is the only true way of knowing if you O or not.

wow tricky. My doc said that the CBEFM is like 99% effective....I have never temped so its hard to tell although I do know that it's the only way to tell if you actually O...
interesting dilemma. sorry I'm not more help. I actually got pg using the CBEFM on the 2nd month. I think it helped me out immensly b/c It turned out I O'd later than I thought...

For some people the CBEFM is a little wacky the first couple months. I would say wait til alteast the third month before you start worring.
