yes I think that would look great, love the armoire unit and LOVE those dark floorboards! I'd have a heck of a time maintaining them since DH likes to scratch up the floor so much  but I'd love to have dark wood floors I think they look gorgeous!

OK, so i got the buffet piece not the armoire that you saw on pottery barn off of someone second hand on craigslist. it's going to be in my dining room with those dark floors.
NOW... i need help figuring out what color dining set to get (i know, i know, i did this arse backwards).
but i loved the piece so much!!
can you inspire me?

Me personally I would go with a set that matches your new piece. The piece is reddish right? What color will your walls be in that room?

but, i don't think i will find a set that color??

No I don't think black is a bad choice at all. It would look very nice. You could tie other things in the room into the black. Maybe shelves or frames in black. Just a thought. GL!
