Probably a silly question
So I got a smiley on my OPK last night. It was the first time i tested for O this cycle bc I kept forgetting to stop and pick up a new kit. So obviously we  last night. This morning I took another with FMU and NO smiley. So basically I just caught the surge last night.
My question is, now that there's no smiley, is the timeframe up? I know the egg can live from 12-24 hours so I'm just wondering if you only get a smiley BEFORE the egg is released. I plan on again tonight and tomorrow night for good measure. Should I count today as 1 DPO? or tomorrow? I know that  OPK does not mean I definitely O'd but for DPO purposes, when should I start counting??
If this is confusing, please let me know, I will try to re-word. TIA!!!

It suppose to tell you a 12-36 hr Period that you will O I believe...so you should tonite
Are you noticing any CM? this should help you with your O day. or Temps...
not sure if you are doing this....

not sure if you are doing this....
I do track my CM, and I'd say it's pretty EWCM. We're using Preseed this cycle also, so I'm hoping that helps out even more!! No temping yet, I am not a morning person at all and I don't think I could remember to take my temp every day. Hopefully OPK's and good ol' counting days will do the trick!

I would just do the basic and see what happens...especially if you see EWCM!

The smiley comes before O, usually 12-36 hours before. So I would count tomorrow as 1dpo. Also I would tonight and tomorrow night, maybe Wednesday too if you have any energy left! Good luck!

hey!! today is CD 16 so i'm right on track. it did seem to sneak up on me this cycle though. lets hope the 2WW goes just as fast!!!
