During an IUI cycle do you ever...
Drink alcohol? Before IUI, when stimming, or after while in 2ww?

I did the first cycle. I had a little bit to drink in the 2ww...
Since then I haven't though because I am on meds that say you shouldn't drink with them.. like metformin, in particular... so, starting this cycle, no......

Dr. B said you can have a glass of wine here and there. I am on femara.
hope that helps....I just started tues and haven't yet....i figured i would save it until we are out with friends or something.

I didn't b/c i didn't want to interfere with anything - but that was my choice, I think the dr. said a little was ok, even good to help relax.

I think I might have, honestly, I don't think that effects the iUI at all. I had IUI B2B, the day after day #2 we BD, it worked for us, pregnant with twins!! We got pregnant on round #2 of IUI.

honestly.. i really think that it's up to her dr to tell her if it's ok to have a drink or not. Everyone has to do what they feel is right for themselves.
i've spoken to my dr about it and he said to carry on normally until i get a BFP - so i have a few drinks here and there. I specifically asked about after the iui's and he said it was ok

ok...... I didn't exactly tell her to drink or not... I just said that I don't.... sorry if anyone got offended...

I didn't during the stim or in the 2ww.
As soon as I got my BFN: I did.
My reasoning was that alcohol has been shown (but the mechanism is not fully understood) to decrease fertility. I was going to give myself the best shot possible.

If you already had a drink and were fine, then you are 100% fine!!  I'm just going based on some stuff I read online about drinking while on it!!
I'm on a bunch of other stuff in addition to that though! So I just don't want to chance it- but then again I have a tendency to be overly cautious about these things

this is exactly what I said to a coworker who told me not to drink at our xmas party cuz you "never know"....ummm yeah...happy almost memorial day , I'll be having a beer at that picnic,

I would be embarassed to tell you, how long i went without going to a dentist because i was scared to take an xray because "u never know" ha. I'm lucky i still have teeth!
