So Tiring

so dh and I are not overly sexual people and we kind of work opposite schedules, if you can figure out where I am going here.

Anyway this is the first month we are really trying and we BD'd like 5 days in a row and we are both exhaustedChat Icon

I must say that my DH is such a trooper and he really proved to me this month just how much he wants a baby.

Last night I just kept thinking, I wish we could like use siringe and suck up his sperm and just shoot it into me Chat Icon that would make it soooo much easier.

But I must say this experience has definetly brought us closer but I wouldnt mind not having to do it again next month Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
Who else has a hard time with all the BDing and how do you and DH handle it?

Re: So Tiring

Its definatley hard with DH and I. We both work late hours and come home and are Exhausted. He is a trooper and is motivated and he really does show me how he wants this but honestly we are DEAD tired and its shows...

Its funny cuz I was telling DH I wish we had a turkey baster and can inject every nite! Chat Icon

It is quite fun though!

The first 6 months was fun! The next 6 months, still fun but def exhausting. This past year has been down right awful. I won't lie. It has put a strain on that part of our marriage for some time now. When we moved onto IUI's it was almost a welcome reliefChat Icon (turkey baster!)

I have zilch advice, but many hugs to you.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: So Tiring

OMG it really can be tiring! When I was trying to figure out my cycles and was starting BDing every other day on CD8 for a 42 day cycle, I was exhausted! DH never gets tired though.Chat Icon

We always start off having a great time, but by the time I actually O (I'm a late Oer), we're both a little tired and feeling the pressure. I work in NYC and get home a lot later than DH, so that doesn't help. I can't wait until we're not on a "schedule" anymore.

Re: So Tiring

We haven't officially started TTC yet, but think we will this cycle...Besides the physical tiredness, I can imagine that the emotional strain must be tough too...

Positive thoughts though - hopefully we all won't be at this for too much longer! Chat Icon

Re: So Tiring

This is our first month TTC and I already brought up the turkey baster idea Chat Icon Chat Icon

We usually don't do*it* every day and so it's kinda tiring but I figure we'll rest during the non-fertile part of the months...
