My former dog kicked in the face by a landscaper from next door
Let me start of by saying she was my dog for 8 years, she has always been aggressive and we knew eventually we would need to get rid of her when my son was born. That time came and she went to live with my mother. She hates other people and other animals and prefers to be by herself.
Fast forward to yesterday. She got out and heard the landscaper blowing leaves next door. She went after him, his ankles I would imagine b/c she is a 14 pound Pekingnese, and he kicked her to protect himself. well, he kicked her so hard, she was knocked unconscious, her front canine tooth was cracked in half and had to be removed, she was bleeding out of her nose and her left eye is all bruised and pooled with blood. Spent 6 hours at the emergency vet. They are hoping her eye wasn't damaged.Only time will tell. I mean I know she's aggressive, but a small little thing. This guy must have kicked her so hard to knock her out and break her front tooth. Poor baby. Please pray her eye heals for my littl e"Naughty."

Oh my goodness that is terrible, poor thing. :(  prayers for her eye and a quick recovery .

OMG! That is horrible! I pray that she is ok and that there is no damage to her eye. To kick her that hard was totally unnecessary!

OMG that is terrible.
I understand wanting to defend yourself from a dog trying to bite you - but kicking a 14lb dog THAT hard...unacceptable IMO?
I hope she gets better fast

Some people will truly use any excuse they get to harm an animal IMO. It sickens me. I your dog gets better soon and I would personally do whatever I could to take this issue further with the landscaper.

she seems to be gettin back on track...she started barking and growling at the neighbor today...She goes back to have her eye looked at again tomorrow.
