Had another doctor appointment yesterday
The good news is the Clomid and Metformin are working and the doctor estimates I'll O anywhere from today through this weekend. Today is CD12 and I normally don't O until CD 28-30 so that's a huge change! 
The bad news is he thinks we should move forward with IUI because it will eliminate any problem with DHs motility. His motility is slightly low (46 and should be at least 50). The other doc didn't seem concerned, but this one (my main doc) said if we had been TTC 2 or 3 months he would say keep trying naturally, but because it's month 9 and 90% of couples are PG by now, we should consider it. He also doesn't want to pump me full of meds if there's that chance it won't happen naturally.
DH wants to move to IUI right away with our next cycle. I feel like I owe it to my body to give it another cycle or two naturally. So that's where we're at - trying to figure out if we should move to IUI next cycle if we don't get PG naturally this cycle.

I understand wanting to do it naturally and give your body another chance but I just know that if I was ttc for 9 months with no luck I would be ready willing and able to do any procedure that would increase my chances of conceiving

Keep in mind that with IUI, you can still try on your own! And, usually, Clomid dries up your CM, which makes conceiving on your own more difficult. Good luck no matter what you decide!!

Thats great news!!!!
My DH doesnt want to jump onto IUI so quickly either. He wants to try naturally and then maybe talk about it. Im ready to bring on the IUI full force lol!!!
But, I didnt know we could BD along with having an IUI done....is that really true? If so, thats a good thing

I'm not sure if there's a "rule" that you can't, but my doc said one of the benefits would be that we wouldn't have to BD to try and could just enjoy each other instead.
Thanks for the input everyone. As much as part of me wants to give my body a chance to do this naturally now that the meds are regulating my cycle, I think IUI would really be our best shot at our little miracle. So I think it's decided!
