Got a call from my doctor's office yesterday-UPDATE
Of course, I left my cell phone in the car yesterday so I didn't get the message until 7pm when the office was closed. She said my blood results came back and to call her. I had the one hour glucose test and I think they also test for anemia. Anybody know what else they test for at that visit. I can call back in an hour....I'm hoping its just the sugar level or anemia and nothing more serious....
ETA: I love how she told me as she was taking my blood that "no call is good news"- so now I definitely know something came back off! 
Update: I failed the glucose test- it was supposed to be under 139 and I was 165- so off to the three hour test I go!

Don't worry too much. The worst is that you may be anemic or need to take the 3 hour test. Either way, they aren't a big deal. Plus, the call could be good news.

I'm always the first to say... don't worry about these tests. I'm sure it's nothing major, if anything.
I swear, my mom's generation who was having babies in the 60's and 70's, had it easier in many ways. Half the time they didn't even they know they were pregnant for three months and then they got big and one day delivered. There weren't all of these tests, many of which have a high rate of false positives, to scare the heck out of them.

If you did fail your glucose, its not really a big deal. You'll go for your 3 hour a most likely pass it. For some reason, this seems like a common thing.
I went yesterday for mine and am patiently waiting to hear my results. I'm already planning that I'll have to do the 3 hour next week. This is exactly what happened with my first DS.

I agree, you probably failed the 1 hour, so many people do. I did, and past the 3 hour, a PITA but not really a big deal.

I took the three hour and it is no big deal. just don't eat a ton of carbs the night before.

Thanks ladies- this is so annoying- I just feel like my number wasn't even borderline- it was kind of high. Guess I'll just hope for the best!

Good luck witht the 3 hour. I heard it's not that bad and there are plenty of people who fail the 1 and pass the 3.

I know of sooo many ladies who fail the 1 hr but pass the 3 hr with flying colors.. I hope you are one of them
