Has anyone sol dtheir house and only lived there a few years?
We will be in our house 6 years in June. Although I do feel very lucky to have it, DH and I have multiple reasons why we may consider selling in the future. I sort of feel bad! My parents are in the house I grew up in for 30 years now! But DH and I figure we pay so much $ for the mortgage, if we can find something else at a comparable amount where we will be happier...we will do it. Why do I feel so guilty?

I grew up the same way as you. My parents are still in our house and I cannot believe we all lived there, in that tiny space. They think my house is "big" due to this, but to DH andme it has gotten smaller and smaller once we got our pets then had DD. So we too are going to move this year, but have been looking for about 3 years on and off. Our minds are made up, we don't care if both our parents are in the same houses, times are different and we go after what we want when we can attain it. Don't feel guilty if it's the right thing for you!

thank you! DH and I just feel that we would be overall happier somewhere else. there are just too many variables. flooding in our basement....neighborhood is changing...HS is not great....shared driveway (ugh).....boxy rooms......i am just not happy......i do feel grateful to have my house but i just can't see us there forever.
