WWYD?
Thanks to another poster on here, I bought this coat a few months ago. I really like it. It's inspired by Robin's trench coat on How I met your Mother:
Well, I was just scanning Anthropologie's website and found a coat that is even more like the I was originally looking for:
Are these two coats different enough to justify buying this one? I can't return the first one because it was too long ago and I cut the tags off (but haven't worn yet).
Is it crazy to think about buying this one too?

Because they are two totally different colors I think you are justified BUT only if you really think you will wear both enough to justify the cost. Are they both quality coats that will last more than one season?

I'm not sure about the second one since I've only seen it online.
But I actually looked up Wilson's return policy and it is 90 days. I do have time. I just don't have the tags or packing slip. But I have my email confirmation of my order. Should I call them to see if I can return it?

TBH, I wouldn't even bother until I saw the 2nd coat in person. I know Anthro is quality stuff but I like to know things like how the fabric feels, etc. before committing.

Actually, I called and I can return it. So this weekend I can go see the Anthro coat first and if I like it I can return the other one.

I was going to say that I thought they were different because of the color but then I looked a the bottom of both and they are more similar than I thought.
I think beige will go with more clothes than grey. But I LOVE the grey.
I say look at the beige one and make your choice then.
But I think because of the bottom part that they are too similar.

Yup, it's going to be one of the other. If I like the beige one better, then I'll return the grey.

its a good investment, in my opinion
i splurged on a good trench and i wear it al lthe time..fall, spring and even warmer winter days

I love the anthro coat, but it is very trendy--military and ruffles. Both very in this season. I think it would depend on the cost for me because you may not like it next year. I am a huge anthro fan and I love their ruffles this season-so pretty and feminine.
