Rec. for R.E in Nassau County?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could please recommend good R.E's in Nassau County? RVC, Lynbrook, or Garden City area or even around any one of those? TIA

I go to the Center for Human Reproduction in Manhasset. I see Dr. Rosenfeld.

ETA: I was at Cornell and I know they have a satellite office in Garden City on Franklin. I saw Dr. Goldschlag when I was with them and he was great.

I reponded earlier but just wanted to add...

You should definitely find a doctor that is either close to your home or job. You will be spending A LOT of time there. I was originally going to go to Dr. B in Woodbury, but my RE in Mineola was super convenient for my LIRR commute... it is right next to the Mineola train station.

I totally agree with this. When I first started going I was working 5 mins away from the office. Now I am going to school 45mins away and it makes going very difficult.

Dr. Brenner from Long Island IVF....he has an office in Lake Success.

But I definatley agree with the posters above. You NEED to find a place that is really (and I mean really) close to where you work or live...because you will be there ALOT and you dont want the added stress of a long commute.

Definately agree with everyone else. Being close to your job is a big plus b/c you are going to be going for alot of monitoring

I highly recommend a RE that you are comfortable with. Interview more than one.

Location is important but not as important as the rapport and trust you have in him/her.

I see Dr. Braverman after seeing a very accomplished doctor at Cornell. I'm impressed.

Yes it sucks to be late to work but I was going to be late no matter what doctor I saw.

I was looking into an RE in Hewlett because it is closer. But you guys are right... I should go with a better doctor. Could I go to the RE in the afternoon at like 4:30 to get monitored? Or can you only do that in the AM?

If I can do this at 4:30, then I will go with the better doctor

You can absolutely go at 4:30! I usually ask for their latest appointment. Sometimes they are all booked and I have to leave a period early or so from work... but most of the time I am able to get something at least after 4!! You don't only have to do the monitoring in the morning!
