I've never had to make this difficult decision and I don't know if I could. I would be feeling so unsure of myself and I would need someone to help me realize that this is whats best for them, not for me. It would be very difficult for me not to be selfish at a time like this b/c I never want to loose them. I admire your strength and courage to do what's humane.
I'm so very sorry sorry that you are going through this. I can't stop crying now.....

There is a web site called rainbow bridge. Hoping that it will somehow bring you comfort since they offer advice on coping. There is also a tribute section too.

It's just very hard...I'm so sorry
I put my dog down in 2000 (she was 16 years old and had cancer) and 10 years later I still feel pain when I think about her!
