Prime is awesome!!!! We went in Oct. for our Anniversary!
My sister just pointed out Blackstone to me yesterday! Thats next on her list (LOL, she and her boyfriend always hit the best places....DH and I follow her recommendations)!

Prime or Blackstone is my choice for steak on LI.
I would opt out of Old Field Inn. We went a few weeks ago (after realizing I've never eaten there in all the years of living in Centerport). Neither of us were in the mood for steak but they overcooked Al's hamburger. If they can't get a hamburger right, skip the steak.

They definitely overcooked our steaks when we were there years ago. I remember it being so dry with no flavor.  We were so bummed because we were hoping to find a local joint with great steaks.

Well after being SO excited to have a night out, we couldn't get a sitter.
Went to Torcellos and it was awful which was surprising b/c its always good. The kids were maniacs, I sent my meal back - just a rough night 
When my mom is better she owes me and we're sooooo going out Blackstone is def. next on the list :)

Which Frank's did you go to? I have been to the one in Westbury a few times and had bad service once or twice. But the one in Rockville Centre was phenomenal.
This was the one on Jericho Turnpike.
Yes, I agree, we had bad service there too, and the food was nothing special. But the one in RVC was excellent!
