Do you think heartbeat determines sex of baby?
I heard this as an old wives tale that the higher the HB it would be a girl. I hear 140 and below is a boy and 140 and above is a girl. Mine was 160 and I have no idea and am not finding out. Did this wives tale work out for anyone in terms of girl or boy? Just curious.

My baby's heartbeat has been around 170, and I'm having a boy...so that tale doesn't work for me.

My doctor said none of the old wives tales are accurate. Sorry!

You will most likely find that the baby's heartrate will vary from visit to visit. With my son he was in the 130's in the early months and then in the 170's in the later months.
