MY grandparents live in that community and they paid 3 years ago $331,000 for their 2 bedroom. 2.5 bedroom condo.
Their place is huge. I really cant believe how much room they have in thier place and the communtiy is very nice!!

I don't think it's that bad for a condo. It's very big even though it is only 2 bedrooms. If it is gated the price seems about right in this market.
My parent's looked at Townhouses in Oakdale(not by the water) and they are starting at $600,000.

i did a search....the highest any of those units has sold for in recent months is in the high 300's.....
that seller will MOST DEFINITELY have to adjust his asking price...

I have lived in Holbrook for 28 years. I remember when this neighborhood was built and how much they cost. When I looked at the models (just being nosy), I was surprised that this builder who built my development was still using the same inferior quality construction materials. While this is a nice neighborhood (not gated), it all depends on where you are located. The streets are small and narrow and the back of the neighborhood backs up to a community market and if it is hot enough in the summer, you can enjoy the smell of rotting garbage from the dumpsters behind the stores. Worth almost 1/2 a million for one of these? I think not.
