Restaurant Recommendations?
I'm going to see Wicked on Tuesday and we're stumped on where to eat beforehand.
We're looking for something not insanely expensive, but I don't want to end up at Planet Hollywood or TGIFridays. any ideas?
o and neither of us eats seafood, just to make it a little more comlicated.

Re: Restaurant Recommendations?
simply pasta is in the times sq area and is really good and surprisingly reasonable
http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/simply-pasta/
also, a lot of restaurants have pre-theater menus which are worth looking into - ex: bistecca fiorentina is pricey but has a good pre fixe if you go early

Somebody on here recommended John's Pizzeria to us a couple of years ago and we've been going back ever since. The food is excellent and it's very reasonable!!!!

We saw Wicked last Friday night and went to Carmine's beforehand. It was yummy! Enjoy the show!

Ruby Foo in Times Square is really good.
If you like BBQ then try Virgils or Dallas BBQ.

I second all of these places. Whenever I'm in the theatre district with my kids and we are not looking to break the bank, we invariably end up at one of these places. My kids particularly like Ruby Foo's and I''ve never been disappointed there.

We saw a show last weekend, and we went to a place called the Chimichurri Grill. It was EXCELLENT!
They have a website too.
