I think I am going to join you ladies...
DH and I decided that in a few months we are going to TTC!!
So excited!
So here is what I have been doing so far...
1. Went off BCP a few months ago
2. Had two normal cycles so far and have began to use my calendar to count my days
3. Visited my Dr. and told her we were going to try this spring. She gave me a bunch of samples of pre-natal vitamins to see which I liked the best, went over family history, etc, and said I am good to go whenever we decide to try
4. Trying to eat healthier
5. Working out (something I normally do, but working harder...I want to be that pregnant lady with the "guns" lol)
6. Taking a multi-vitamin every day (something ive always done anyway)
So now here are my questions..
is there anything else I should be doing in order to prepare, like starting to take the pre-natals? If so, when should I start? DH and I are thinking March is when we are going to try.
I dont smoke and dont drink coffee on a regular basis so thats one thing I dont have to worry about.
Any other suggestions?
Oh and some
for my fellow TTCers!

great start! I say it's never too early to start prenatals. It can't hurt!
Sounds like you are on the right track. The best thing is to start to figure out your cycles. Knowing is half the battle!

Thanks! See I was always irregular, hence the reason for taking the BCP. I went off of it and didnt get AF for two months, then finally got her two months in a row on a 30 day schedule. Hopefully I can stay regular while TTC!
Oh and PS sorry for the fake name. I know a few people IRL and I dont need the "are you pregnant yet" question every day!

Same thing happened to me..actually why I went on BCP too! but I began to regulate after. Have you been on www.mymonthlycycles or www.fertilityfriend.com ? great way to keep track!

I would start the prenatals now - it doesn't hurt

I would definately start the prentals. From what i understand - it can take a few months for your body to reap the benefits of the vitamins.

I'm in the same boat as you. We are going to start trying in spring, but right now we are off the pill and just trying to understand this process.
