you can only do it 24 hours before the flight.

Reservation number and name, 24 hours before. I usually try to do it 24 hours to the minute because it's oddly a pretty competitive check-in process to get a good number.

I sit there 5 minutes before with my finger on the comp ready to click when the exact minute 24 hours before the flight pops up. Sounds crazy, but I was the first one on the last time I flew with them! (Well , after the pre-boarders).

Re: southwest airlines - on-line check in
last time we flew southwest was over 10 years ago. we were given either a "a", "b" or "c" ticket, then you waited on that line. it didn't matter if you were "b1" or "b50". if you were "b50" but first on line you got on first with that section.
is it still the same??

Re: southwest airlines - on-line check in
If you are flying out of Islip, don't stress. Log in 24 hours before, but since it's such a small airport, it's pretty easy to get on the planes.

Re: southwest airlines - on-line check in
i'm thinking that even if we get a c ticket we can by-pass the b's and c's since we are a family of 4 (ds 3 dd 1)
