I went out for Thai food / my parents on Friday night. The food was really spicy and my parents were almost crying so I asked the waitress for more water. The bar area was in plain sight.
There was a 1/2 glass of water already sitting on the bar. I actually saw her pour the water from the glass in the pitcher and then refill our glasses with it. (Obviously we didn't drink it.)
Would you report them?
Would you ever go back there?
Would you have said something that night (I didn't)?

I would have told her that I saw what she did and that I wanted the check immediately.
What restaurant was it? I want to avoid it.

Sri Thai in Huntinton. It WAS one of my favorite restaurants.

Or warned that doing that is not hygienic and they could get closed down by the board of health.
I would have said something and I wouldn't. go back.
Once in a bagel store we saw the guy who was slicing lox take a piece for himself as he was slicing...from his gloved hand to his mouth and back.
YUCK! DH said something and the guy felt bad but I guess he does it all the time.

I would call the bd of health, not only that but what can be going on in the kitchen... sorry to gorss you out.
I once was at Applebee's and I did not order fries w/ my meal, so I sent it back, the waiter took my plate to another table and starting eating my unordered fries from the plate! We walked right out, after we told the manager what happened .
