trying to decide which hotel
to stay in when we go to vegas! i've only stayed in the NY, NY hotel and i really liked it there. DH has never been to Vegas and said since we are from NY, he would rather not stay there! haha, i know!
I'm trying to decide on one of the mid-priced hotels and i'm thinking i want to stay at an older hotel, since that is what i've known since i started going there as a child (but always stayed with relatives). I've been leaning towards Mirage, but what are your suggestions!

I was at the Mirage about 2 years ago, I like it there! Great pool area, good buffet and churrascaria restuarant, etc. and the Cesear's shops are really close.
I also stayed at the Flamingo (cheaper but still a good central location).

I LOVED Paris and Mandalay Bay. I've stayed at NY, NY and it was pretty nice.

The Mirage is really nice, also look for deals at the Venetian (my favorite), the Bellagio, and Caesars!

I feel the same way@ New York New York haha...and IMO the location isn't great.
We loved the Paris, very central also,
We stayed at Treasure Island yrs ago before renovation and the room was HUGE don't know if that changedwith reno though...

Ceasers is very nice.
Actually it just struck me if you want older and beautiful pools check out the flamingo. What a really nice place. I didnt stay but the surroundings are just so pretty.
