How many did you have left on day 3? only about half make it to day 5 and freeze and than some don't meet the quality requirements they have to freeze.
ETS: I think it was KrisT who had a Day 3 transfer, had no embryos left to freeze but it worked and she's pregnant!
8 fertilized total and they put two 8 celled embies back. My RE and the Embryologist said the 2 they put back were perfect. So I guess they were watching the other six....2 of which they though might have made it to blast but none did.
I also had 8 total. 5 made it to Day 3. Implanted the best two and have healthy 9 month old twin boys. The 3 others did not make it to day 5. None left to freeze.

It's normal to lose eggs at each step of the IVF process. I had 20 retrieved, 11 fertilized, and 7 made it to freeze. I have a DD from my first IVF. It's a numbers game. Best of luck!

I'm so sorry.
The same thing happened to me. I had 28 eggs, 18 fertilized and they implanted 2 blasts and I had none to freeze either. Thankfully I got pregnant with DD on our first fresh cycle. Don't lose hope.

Here were my numbers:
16 eggs at ER
12 were mature
10 fertilized
6 made it to day 5
They put back 2
3 made it to freeze.
I started with 16 and ended up with 3 to freeze.
It only takes one. I'm living proof! Try not to get too down. The best eggs are in your basket. Be positive for them!
About the same for me. Don't worry...it really does only take one, honey and you had 2 great ones!!!
