You know, you look forward to your one vacation a year...
...then you check the weather forecast and it's supposed to rain rain rain the entire trip  
95% chance rain and thunderstorms for Saturday (29th) and Sunday, and rain the whole following week.
This is for Cancun btw

Eww, that sucks.
Call the resort you're staying at and ask them what the weather is like right now and what they are expecting for the following week.
Chances are too that it'll rain for 10 mins in the afternoon and then be gorgeous for the rest of the day.

I hope so, we went last year in October and it rained a lot which is why we wanted to go back....to do the things we couldn't last year. Oh well, I'll just stay at the hotel and get drunk

we were just in cancun and the forecast was the same.. it rained every night while we were getting ready for dinner and only for about 15 minutes! we had gorgeous beach weather!!

It may rain every day, but it shouldn't rain all day, every day. You should still get some nice breaks of sun, plus as long as there's no thunder, most people will still hang out at the pool- why not, you're wet already anyway!

We went in October '05 for our honeymoon and it rained constantly the first few days. It was a warm rain though. We still went for walks, swam in the ocean and pool, sightseeing. We wore our swimsuits around.
Just be sure to bring a pair of shoes that can get wet and are comfortable walking around in while wet.
