Taking a 2 and 3 year old to disney alone? Am i nutso? ETA: What about Hershey, Great Wolf or Dutch Wonderland? (at bottom of pg 1)

I need to get away and what better place then to feel good again and act like a kid with my kiddies than disney!

Anyone take their older toddlers alone on a plane? Better to drive maybe? How do i lug carseats alone? Or on a trip like that? Pointers? Advice? Tell me i'm nuts?

Am i nuts?

My 3 year old is potty trained, my 2 year old isn't..they are really good girls, they listen to me(have their moments as all kiddies do), took them to six flags with my bro on wednesday with a babysitter, but i prob could have left her home and managed on my own.

I really really want to go..I need some time away and i know it wont' be vacation but I need to get the crap off my mind with my marriage, my DH and just life...

Or what parks like disney, not sesame place though, would be great for the kiddies that maybe aren't so far away in driving distance?

What about Dutch Wonderland? That is about 4 hours away from here. It is in Amish land so that is also nice too!

I think Florida is ambitious!

I'll be honest. We (meaning my dad, my DH, and myself) took my son (age 2) to Magic Kingdom back in March.
He is a VERY good boy, but lost patience waiting on most lines for the rides.
We all took turns standing with him. You can't bring strollers on the lines. You have to "park" them.
For us, it was a bit hard.

I see a girls on here talking about "The Land Of Make Believe"...that may be something to look into.
I think its a nice small park.
We are thinking of taking DS there next week for a day trip.

I'd say Hershey Park too if you want to go away.

IMO, me personally, could not do it alone with 2 unless they were older.

We just came back from Dutch Wonderland-I would definitely give that a shot with two toddlers. The lines are not that bad and most of the rides are made for that age.

I would do Dutch Wonderland. It's a great park. We usually stay at the Best Western Eden Resort. It's a great place indoor pool, playground, etc.

Land of Make Believe is only worth it if you go when the water stuff is open. But if you thikn they could handle the car ride, what about Williamsburg? Busch Gardens is a lot of fun and there's plenty of stuff to fill a few days. My sister and I took the kids (my niece 10, my DS 2.5) and they both had fun. We swam at the resort, went to an indoor aqaurium/children's museum on a rainy day, went to Busch Gardens, and indoor jumpy castle place, etc...

I've been to all but Dutch Wonderland and me personally if I was going with out dh I would pick Great Wolf. It's not overally crowded, you can do everthing together. IDK I found it to be very realaxing and fun. The other parks you may only be limited to rides they can go on by themselves and then you have the lines to wait on also. Some rides you can't even put more then 2 people on so I would just double check on the online. Hope this helped a little

Another vote for Dutch Wonderland and the Best Western Eden. We took Jenna the end of June and had a great time
