For anyone with a skylight
We have a HUGE skylight in our master bedroom and I love it, BUT it makes the room so hot when the sun is shining down and it gets so light in the bedroom that it wakes me up.
My question is, how do I fix this problem? Do I need to spend crazy money to get an electric blind or is there something cheaper that I can do to help prevent the strong sun from baking my bedroom?
TIA

They do sell skylight shades...I would bring your make/model name of your skylight to Home Depot and they can help you find one I'm sure!

Check out YourBlinds.com Link
I just bought my window bamboo shades from them and we are very happy. We need to order two blinds for our skylights too and I figure we might give this company another try. They can be a little expensive, but well worth it in the end. Save on energy and you get to sleep later.

Re: For anyone with a skylight
We have a curtain covering our bedroom skylight. It is held up by two pressure rods.
Is that an option?
