Brazilian Hair Straightening Rave!!!
I just got this done Friday and even though you can't wash your hair for 4-days and it's not cheap, it is worth every penny Ladies!!!!
My hair is not curly, more on the wavy side, but it's thick and would take me 25 min's to dry it and then I would flat Iron it just to smooth it out. By the time I am done, I need another shower!
I washed it last night for the first time and no lie, blowdry it for under 10 min's and DONE!!! No flat Iron, no products. My hair is shinier then it's ever been and the texture is amazing.
For those on the fence about doing it, I completely recommend it.
I got it done in Huntington Village if anyone is wondering.

Re: Brazilian Hair Straightening Rave!!!
Ok...inquiring minds want to know, where in the village? (if you don't mind posting) I've been doing the Japanese at Top Point, but I'm considering making the switch (I've been disappointed the last 2 times I've had it done.) My sister has been doing the Brazilian (last treatment was done in Cold Spring Harbor), so I'm always looking for places for her as well.

Salon 44 on Gerard Street (across from the Dairy Barn). Frank did it, 100% recommend him. Not a big place, but amazing! He did my color also and I have never been happier. Mention my name if you go.

I bought the Loreal EverPure Sulfate Free Shampoo and Cond. The Salon of course had stuff there, but for $18 each I was like F-that! Even the stylist said don't bother and just get a Sulfate Free one.
