help with paint colors please

What color do u suggest for this kitchen?? We are in the process of buying this house...wohoo!! i need help with paint colors all over this house actually...but especially the kitchen/dining area?? thank u

congrats!

i think a sage green with a nice accent rug would look really great in the kitchen. if in the budget, i would replace the dishwasher to match the rest of the appliances.

in re: to the dining room, tan would work well. pair with a colorful area rug, dark toned furniture and window panels. depending on the size of the room i would position the table the length of the room as opposed to what looks like the width in the pic. if the DR is more square than rectangular, a round extending table would look great.

thank u so much for ur response..i knew sage would come up but, i already have that in my kitchen now...it's funny im leaving a coop and im lookin to do the same colors in the coop as the house. I'm tryin to do different...what about a greenish gray???

We definetly want to change the dishwasher for everything to match and as far as the dining room we have a dining set.. (dark wood)... and then we have a dark leather sectional couch ...i was gion to do the dining and living area a beige...

any other suggestions would b great!!!

I just painted my kitchen BM peaceful jade which is a grayish green.

we just painted our kitchen and used BM "straw"... its a nice, warm, soft yellow... heres a pic

Congrats !
I'd go with a very light yellow to warm up the space and also would go well with the colors of the cabinets. The suggestion of the previous poster before me looked like a real nice color for it. I'd go with a "taupe" color in the dining room...not too dark. It'll go really well with the dark furniture and it will be a nice transition from one room to the other.

My first thought was sage too, but if you want to stay away from that, I like yellow (not too bright) or possibly even a light blue.

Here is the next question since u girls are very good!!! In the living room which is connected to the dining room do i do the same taupe/beige color as well as the hallway??

What do you think is a good color for the basement. It is one huge basement..thanks!!!

The only color I would change is the kitchen. The other room colors are lovely...

yes yellow in the kitchen and maybe a medium blue for the basement
