to the sellers
have you noticed that like every appointment they're extremely late? the real estate agent doesn't even call either! for the past 2 weeks we've had a bunch of appointments that were either half hour to almost 2 hours late! i don't get this inconsiderate act. i'm pregnant and have to drive my dogs around while we have showings and now that it's hot, it's even worse with the dogs being in crates in the car :-/ i wish people would come when they say they're coming. 10-15 minutes late, ok that's reasonable but not more than that!

Re: to the sellers
YES!!
The buyers for our house were almost an hour late... and their appt was for 7 pm on a Saturday, right smack in the middle of my kids bedtime. I was so annoyed.
I don't understand it... when I was looking, we always were on time and maybe a few times 5 minutes late.

Re: to the sellers
I've had a couple of people show up late also. My RE makes me call him when the showing is a minute late (seriously). He will then get intouch with them to see where they are so i have a better idea of when to expect them. My RE gets so mad when people are late. One time an appointment was scheduled between 10-11am. After they didn't show I called my agent who called the other agent and she told him she was right outside my door so he didn't call me back. Well, she LIED. She showed up 3 hrs later. I have 2 young kids so it gets very annoying and is extremely rude. Especially when the showing cuts into nap time, lunch or dinner, or bedtime. I always try to accomodate so i deserve alittle respect also.

Re: to the sellers
As a buyer, I do agree that it is rude. Typically we are at least 5 minutes early to our showings as I am one to think lateness is unexceptable. Last Friday, however, we got lost trying to find a house and were then 5 minutes late and our REA was caught in traffic because of a downed powerline and was 15 minutes late, so sometimes things out of your control happen. Our REA, however, called to say he would be late.
