UPDATED AT BOTTOM OF POST: As if the buyers of our house didn't give us a hard time enough, now the sellers of the other house
want to close the first week of July. PEOPLE I AM DUE JULY 7TH  I understand that it really doesn't concern anyone else but DH and I but why can't people be simpathic to us. If I don't have this baby before the tenative closing date set for June 29th I am not going to the closing because it is out of state (NJ but still durning the week it will be probably close to 2-2.5 hours away from the hospital). But now I have worry about going into labor while DH is at the closing. I am just sad that this process couldn't have gone smoother.

I'm sorry you are going through this. Its def. tough moving anyhow so close to your due date plus moving itself. It will work out, you'll see. Stay positive.

People unfortunately don't care. Business is business and unfortunately you are a victim. I understand this......we sold and are buying. Selling was worse but the buying has been a rollercoaster too.
Many hugs to you and good luck. You'll have to take it as it comes - it really will work out. Maybe not as you planned but it will all work out....

Is there any way your lawyer can tell them if you do happen to be in the hospital having A BABY the day of the scheduled closing, you can reschedule for the following week??

In NJ you don't have 30 days like NY to close you have 10 calendar days so the latest they can close is July 9th.
Thanks for all the . This just really stinks. Oh and I forgot to mention that the buyers of our home already have mail coming here! Who does that? I am having the post office holding my mail because I don't want to have to switch things to my mom's house for such a short time so I guess they won't their mail for a while.

OH MY GOD - are you kidding me? I'm sorry that nothing is easy with this - I've heard that buying/selling at the same time is very stressful so I can't imagine it with a baby due any day now.

So my DH went to the house today to look at the stuff they were selling and the seller said that their has been alot of miscomunication going one and she doesn't know on whose part (I have a feeling on our attorney's part). So they started moving things already and she said they are ready to close anytime the week of 25th  . I have no idea where my attorney received his information from and from what my DH said they didn't have intentions of closing in July at all.
So all that stress for nothing!

Get out of here!!! You must be so relieved! Thank god he went there - sometimes these lawyers only mess up deals - it's so frustrating!
