can this be the meds??

hello girls!

My RE started me on Metformin a little over a week ago. He said take it at night with some food to avoid nausea and minimize any other side effects. So for over a week it's been great. Have felt nothing.
Fast forward to this morning. I'm all light headed in the shower. I start gagging uncontrolably while brushing my teeth. I can't stop burping and just have this really gross turning stomach feeling.
Now I took the meds last night the same time as I have been. I ate dinner at 8, took the meds at 9pm. Went to sleep and woke up that way.

Is it the meds?? Would they all of a sudden make me feel that way?? Is it something else?? Physically I feel fine, like i don't feel like its the flu or anything.
The RE did a blood test before starting me on my meds and it came back negative (that was 8 days ago) There's no way I'm pregnant right??

I know I am the exception and not the norm BUT... With ds I went on Met and got pregnant my 6th month on met. I started o'ing at 3 months on it. Fast forward to number 2. We decided we wanted to start ttc#2 in May/June. I went to my OB for my annual and to get started on met again. I knew I had not been o'ing since I had ds except for the month I went to the ob there was a possibility but I was not sure or optimistic since it took so long to conceive ds (20 cycles off the pill and the 6 on Met). I saw the doctor and they did a test which was negative. I started the Met and a week and a half later realized I was late. I wanted some wine with dinner so I took a test. To my surprise it was +. I was shocked to say the least and am now 23 weeks along. I was so worried the egg would not be good since I wasn't on the met yet and pcos ladies are known for having poor egg quality. But everything is perfect.

So there is my story but again I am sure I am the exception. Also If the met made you O it may be the post o progesterone that is causing the gagging feeling. Good luck I hope you get a sticky bean soon
