Clomid
Has anyone tried just clomid without IUI? My DH & I are on our 3rd just clomid cycle. I'm not sure if we are wasting out time. BTW all of our tests were fine & our RE didn't have a reason for us not getting pregnant.

I did a clomid and IUI cycle. HOwever, i did the IUI on day 13..i didnt ovulate until day 16 according to my monitor.
(i was seeing a regular GYN not an RE...hence no sonos or checkups.)
However DH and I continued to BD until after i O'd so i think thats what did it and not the IUI b/c it was timed poorly.
I was trying for almost a year and i believe the clomid was the mitigating factor in getting a bfp that month.

We did Clomid for one month without IUI and it worked! I have horrible PCOS and it definitely helped. You never know! Good luck

Thanks ladies. I'm getting so discouraged b/c the Dr. says we are both fine (i'm taking clomid to speed up the process) and in the meantime EVERYONE around me is getting pregnant (w/o even trying)!!

I used it w/o IUI. We did 3 rounds and i got preg on the 3rd round.

I am on my 2nd round right now. I made an appt with an RE at the end of this month before my 3rd cycle would start in case it doesn't work. I don't want to waste any more time either.

I did without any IUIs. I got BFP on 3rd month of using just clomid. There was nothing wrong with either one of us. We were trying for #2 for a year and half. Big fan of clomid. It worked for us.
Heres what I did to get BFP. Used digital OPK. Bd when I got the smiley face and for following 2 days. Total of 3 days. I also went online and bought DR. Lees natural progesterone cream. I rubbed it on different parts of my body twice a day starting on day 5 after my smiley face. Continued to use cream for two weeks past my BFP. It raised my progesterone count from 11.5 to 37
I know that did the trick coupled with the clomid. My 3rd month on clomid I took 100 mg. The previous 2 months I took 50 mg. Best of luck ..hope this helps.

I will be starting clomid next cycle, if AF comes, and will try a 2 mon. cycle without IUI. Hope I will be as successful as you ladies!

My obg told me that with clomid the first 2 months should just be considered trial months.. monitoring to see if you are taking the correct dosage. Month 3 and 4 is where the magic should happen. So my point is... please dont give up hope after just 2 months!!

I'm in the opposite boat. I'm doing IUI right now (today and tomorrow) and I'm not on clomid. If I don't get preggo, then they will probably put me on clomid for the next try.
