Re: so, who is ...
not yet. I'll admit that sometimes I do get the itch but it's just not the right time for us. Plus we've only been married about 5 months now (I'd much rather wait at least a year before trying). So all in good time!!!!
Best of luck to those who are How exciting!

Re: so, who is ...
We are in our third month of TTC AND hoping that this month is our last! We are also slowly cleaning out our 2nd bedroom because we turned into a guest/office/storage room and its a lot to reorganize into the rest of our apartment.

No no not yet for us!!! I'm having a little bit of an itch..but were holding off. We still would like to either buy another house or add an extension to our current one. our house is not ready for children yet.

Re: so, who is ...
We're thinking of TTC at the end of next summer, but not sure if we'll be ready. I know they say you're never really ready, but I'd like to be as financially prepared as possible and we definitely need a bigger place first! Here's some for everyone thats trying!

Re: so, who is ...
We've been talking about starting next year. We're both trying to get in good shape now to ensure a healthy and safe pregnancy and we're saving money so we'll have a little nest egg. We'll need a larger apartment, I don't think we;ll be ready to buy a place just yet, especially since we are talking of moving OOS eventually we just don't know where we want to be yet.

Re: so, who is ...
SO exciting! no babies yet for us...although i will say - we have been thinking about it more money was just so tight for us this year..things are looking like they're turning around - so we want at LEAST another good year-year and 1/2 to just be able to enjoy ourselves, maybe have a decent vacay or two, pay down some debt.. so probably within the next year or two..but def. not now. but CONGRATS to u! very exciting

Re: so, who is ...
Now is the time for me to start TTC because I'll be 35 in August but, I'm not going to let my age force me into making a BAD decision that will affect our lives FOREVER. It's not my fault my soul mate didn't arrive until I was 33!
Our plan was to start trying right after we were married but, DH was laid off a month after our honeymoon so he is going back to school and then he has to get a job. With his huge cut in pay (just collecting unemployment) and my student loans/ cc's that I want to pay off before we have a baby, it's just not happening. If I use our saving to pay the loans then we have no savings!!!!
We have a really low mortgage payment compared to what others pay in NY and we have no car payments. I just don't make as much as I did when living in NY either. So living OOS has it's pros and cons too.
Babies cost so much money. I've seen my friends struggle. No one will ever be ready financially. I just want to be in a better financial position before I have a baby.
Our plan is to start trying next summer. Yes, I'll be 36 and if it happens it happens if not, then it wasn't meant to be.

Re: so, who is ...
When we first got married I wasn't worried about it for the most part, but I have a friend pregnant with her 2nd and another friend ttc with her 2nd and a few friends scattered around with kids. i was hoping to get preggos with one of my friends, but her current pregnancy was an accident, so that idea is shot! so i'm starting to get a little more antsy with the idea, but i think we are going to wait to try until next summer. we are in a 2 bedroom apt now, but i would really rather be in a house, or at least something we own. so that's first on our list and unfortunately a house is not in the near future, so kids aren't right now either.

Re: so, who is ...
We aren't yet. I would be out of work for 3 months for maternity leave w/o pay and we want to have more money in the bank. Maybe right before our 2 year anniversary.
