Car Seat Registering
For those that have registered already...did you register for infant car seats and then toddler car seats?? Does this look greedy if I register for both sets.

I registered for both. I got the SnugRide infant car seat and an Eddie Bauer convertible seat.

we are not registering, but MIL wanted to buy the stroller. we decided to buy the infant car seat and car seat frame, and when it comes time for the stroller we'll use $$ MIL will give us and say it's from her. we'll be on our own for the toddler car seat...

We registered for both too. Some people said the infant seat was a waste, but I wanted it because it doubles as a carrier and when she falls asleep in the seat, I can just bring it in the house and not wake her up.

I registered for both and we ended up just getting the infant seat. We bought the convertible seat when it was time.

I registered for both. I didn't add an extra base for the infant one though. The eddie bauer seat is fine from 5 lbs to like 70 or something. I figured if FH needs a seat in his car, he can just use that.

My girlfriend registered for an infant seat and two convertible seats (one for each car) and she got all 3 at her shower.

I did that too. Well my infant seat was part of the Travel System and then I registered for 2 convertible seats.

Considering that some of us (including me!) ended up needing the convertible seat before the baby was five months old, I think registering for both makes lots of sense!

I registered for the infant seat (Snugride) and a convertible seat too and got both at the shower. I also did not register for an extra base. I figured that the Snugride will be the main seat we use in the beginning and then if we need an extra we have the convertible one which will accommodate a newborn.
