On retrieval day at LIIVF...
What time were you able to leave? My husband is supposed to lecture at a conference at 4pm in the city. I don't want this to interfere.

If I remember correctly, it was never more than an hour after retrieval. It all depends on how well you come out of it and if your vitals are stable.

I was still tired afterwards and probably slept about another 1/2 hr.
I'm assuming he's driving, so you can always sleep on the car ride home if he's under a time constraint.
good luck!

Most of their retrievals are scheduled for late morning...I never got out of there past 1 or 2 p.m.

It depends on what time they schedule you, but I wasn't there for more than 2 hours.
