So frustrated with my Dr.
I am going for CD3 testing tomorrow and DH is going for his SA on Monday. I just called my Dr. to set up a sono and meeting with him to discuss the results and the earliest (I admit I asked for an evening appointment) is 3/17. After 4 calls back and forth I got squeezed in on 3/5 but I have very short cycles and will be ovulating by next week already. I am certain that I have a progesterone deficiency and want to start the supplements right away but this means that another month will have been wasted. I waited 6 weeks for the last appointment and got to see the Dr. for 5 minutes. I really like him, but at this rate it's going to take forever to get pregnant.
So, in my frustration, I just made an appointment with an RE here in Manhattan for Thursday. I guess I should be going down this path anyway given my age (41 in 2 months). I feel better now that I have a plan and hope that I can get my results sent from the ob/gyn to the RE by Thursday.

It usually takes a solid week or so to get results of the sperm analysis 
It is good to get a 2nd opinion anyways and if you like this new dr then just have your results sent to you and pass them on to the new person...
Sorry your dr is being unresponsive - i know all about that!

I'm sorry you are going through this! To be honest, things will move much quicker when you start seeing the RE. I had my initial CD3 testing done by my ob-gyn and it took a week to get the results back. At my RE, you get them back the same day. Good luck!!!

The RE should be able to get u results much quicker----and they also seem way more responsive. My dr calls me often w/ updates and I always get test results so quickly.
Hopefully the RE will help-----it has helped me so much----I now have hope and a plan.

You'll get your answers and more time with an RE... so I'd start there. IMO  Sorry your GYN is being such a poop!
