progesterone suppositories
so i had my iui fri and sat, went today to make sure i ovulated
they told me to insert these 2x a day
i know women use them when pregnant
what do i need them for, what is there purpose

low progesterone could cause a miscarriage if you were to get pg and have low progesterone. They're just covering all bases.

After my IUI on Wed I will start the supps Thursday. If you went through IVF, you would do the progesterone shots.
Two different delivery systems for whichever your body is going through. Progesterone is important to maintain the pregnancy.

Just an FYI, I got ordered suppositiories for my IVF cycle (whuich has been postponed) so I guess it depends on the doctor.

good to know. Yes my doc explained the difference to me but everyone is different.
