SA results back
My OBGYN just called with the results of DH's SA and said they were abnormal and they weren't good.  He said his sperm count was very low. He said he's not infertile, but the numbers are low. I was really upset to hear this. We have to make an appt. asap with a urologist. Has anyone had anything similar? I am worried. I don't know much about this and don't know what to think. Thank you.

my friend just went through this. her DH's sperm was abnormal. They tried artifical insemination, then IVF and now she's pregnant. They even froze some of her eggs so they can just implant her and she wont have to go through this again. good luck!!!

Do you have the exact results?
I know it's probably really scary right now... but there are definitely treatments and options and ways to get you pregnant!

You might want to xpost to infertility. There are a few there that have dealt with sperm issues.

Sorry...
low sperm counts and low motility are usually dealt with by doing IUI's or IVF..this way you bypass the swimming issues. and all sorts of prepping and washing is done to them to get the best spermies out of the bunch.
There is hope and treatment available.
