So weird - I had to violate my club motto - but for a reason!!!

So, without getting into a lot of detail, I was supposed to meet with a woman today that I don't know very well.

She called me today on my cell saying we had to discuss something before our meeting tonight.

She told me she just got her measles shot, and she apologized profusely for having to ask a personal question, but she said, since I'm young, she needed to know if there was any chance I could be pregnant, because the doctor told her she cannot be exposed to a pregnant woman.

How weird is that?

So, I had to tell a woman I hardly know that I'm in the 2WW, and we had to rescehdule our meeting. Me, with a fake name and no one but my 2 good friends know, and this random woman.

I decided to buy a Target early pregnancy test. I'm 11 DPO - it claims it can tell 5 days early, and it came up negative. So, I'm wondering if:

I'm out and I should have gone to the meeting (but then always worry - what if I am harming a baby that *may* be there

I'm still in but tested too early, which I really did not want to do and seriously, want to cry now. I wanted to avoid all of this and it's like the universe played this cruel joke on me.

oh wow.. i can see why you tested.. i think you did the right thing and reschedule.. cause like you said.. of course you are not out yet..

that whole situation must have been really tough.. especially cause you didnt want to test.. and now you are bummed.. BUT.. dont give up hope!!

I just called DH crying. I never cried about stuff like this before - I made it ALMOST 2 weeks without even thinking about it, and really just wanted to get AF, or not. And 3 days before AF is due, I get this phone call.... What are the chances??????

I did not want to waste money on a test and see the BFN.

On another note -Target tests are cheap - 2 in a box for 6.79

it sucks that you got caught off guard with the whole thing.. i always hate the disappointment of a BFN too .. but just try and remain optimistic this month! cause you are very much in the game!

Don't be upset -- you had to test.
and you are NOT out-- it is still early- try to stay positive!-I know it's easier said than done.

I don't even know why I'm so upset about all this - maybe cuz I'm premenstrual?

I dunno. I'm mad that for the last 2 weeks, my mind was on other things - I mean, why didn't I have the meeting 2.5 weeks ago? Or in a few days when I would have known for sure....

What's with the universe????
