anyone getting DH a present for being a new dad?
I have about 1 week left and would like to get something special for my husband, who has been soooo wonderful for the past nine months. But I have no clue what to get him! Any ideas?? It doesn't have to be anything big..but I was thinking something sentimental...just no sure what yet....Thanks

I bought my DH one of those statues (the ones without a face--I can never remember the name)--there is a new dad one.

I was thinking of getting DH a watch w/ the Baby's name and DOB engraved -
I am not into things that are 'obviously' baby - (Pic frames, Photo books, Bronzed feet - that kind of thing)
I'd like to get him something that HE will wear, see, have that will make him think of Baby K - w/o screaming this is a "Daddy" gift -

I bought DH the rock speakers for outside when DD was born (y'know the speakers for outdoors that look like big rocks.) He really wanted them.
It also came in handy since we spent a lot of time home that summer, we were able to rock out in our backyard.

DH's birthday was a week after DD was born and I gave him a picture of their first officialy picture together in a special "Daddy" frame
He keeps it right next to the bed still

u have a smart idea, i already told dh he has to buy me something but u r right i should get him something too, i have been really difficult this past week and he deserves a gift.
i know i want a piece of jewelry, does your dh where jewelry get him a bracelet or if you are a christian a cross and have the baby's name engraved in the back or a jewish star or whatever your religious symbol is.

Like some PP's I was totally thinking I'm giving DH a healthy !
I'm not expecting a tennis bracelet so I hope he's not expecting a rolex! I do want him to have a new daddy tee shirt so that the dr. can put the baby's footprints on it after delivery.

Yes. He is getting a very cool dad charm that he likes, and I am sending him & the baby's godfather to the Poconos for the NASCAR experience once the weather allows.
ETA: For G, I got him a PSP with a ton of games & movies.
