So confused...........UPDATE!
Here is a bit of my info. My cycle averages 86 days. I finally found a doc that has the same game plan as me and DH. Game plan was, go for blood work and SA, then jump start period with Provera and start Clomid. Well guess what...went for blood work and SA yesterday...went to the bathroom 5 mins ago and TBAF has arrived in full affect. No sign that she was coming AT ALL. No cramps, no early spotting, nothing.
My question is...should I call my doc in the morning and let her know I got AF so we could start Clomid? Or wait till the blood work comes back and then go from there?
I am just so confused. 
UPDATE:
So I called my doc and she had me go in on Wednesday evening. I had an internal sono and it came out perfect. Then I met with the doc and we went over the very extensive BW she had me do. That all came out perfect. So I asked her why my cycle is on average 86 days. She said that there is a short somewhere in my system...she then explained herself and I didn't feel like a freak. Thyroids good, no PCOS. So we talked about Clomid. We decided that it would be a perfect time for me to go on it. So Wednesday night I started 50mg. After two of the five pills the only side effect I have is innsomnia. I'm not a good sleeper to begin with but...This is crazy. I'm not even tired. My doc is very optimistic that this is a good route for me. Not necessisarily this month but possibly next. I am feeling overwhelmed. DH and I went out last night and bought a ton of ovulation kits! He wanted me to start them the second we walked in the house and I had to tell him that it doesn't work that way. Once I started googling things for him and showing pics and stuff...he decided that I knew what I was doing and that I just needed to give him about 5 mins and he would be ready to BD!
I am so hoping this works. If it doesn't I am mentally prepared. But a girl can still hope.
Sorry my update is so long...I just can't sleep.

ITA! My cycles were so screwy. (I didn't have AF for over 3 years.) I listened to what the doctors thought to do.

Yea...I would definitely call the doctor and let her know. It may change the game plan, and at the very least its good to let her know what you are experiencing.

Thanks so much ladies. I put a call in to the doc first thing this morning as I was stuck in bed yesterday with the WORST cramps ever. I am now waiting for a call back.
