Re: concerened with weight
I lost about 15 lbs my first trimester due to hyperemesis. I put almost all of it back on between weeks 18-30 and was 4 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight. I have started loosing weight again, even though I'm eating like crazya nd I am back down to 9 lbs under my pre-preg weight.
Baby is measuring fine and so is my belly so my midwives arent' concerned. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. This is just how my body is reacting to this pregnancy!

Re: concerened with weight
I also lost weigh in the 1st trimester, But for no real reason. I had no morning sickness at all. I had also tried losing weight before getting pregnant with no success, but lost 14lbs by the time I was 16 weeks. I did not start to gain the weight back until the end of the 2nd trimester. By 37 weeks I was back at my pre pregnancy weight. In the end I was only 4 lbs over my pre pregnancy weight when I gave birth @ 40 weeks 3 days.

Re: concerened with weight
if your Dr. is happy with your weight gain then all is fine. I gained alot in first trimester..i think 10 lbs...but i am having twins....it tapered off but I also had a gastric bypass so my food intake is much less then a "normal" woman....I got some slack the other day from girls about how small I was and it bothered me....I called to check with DR again lol and he assured me I was doing fine and he knows my pre=preggo body so he knows what I've put on......there is no set size stomach you should hav on a set date....everyone carries differently..what gets to me is the rumors i hear from my lurkers about being so thin....they are "family" and should be more concerned with getting their fat a$$es back into shape LOL......a pregnant women shouldnt be worrying about ANYTHING...so go with your stats......and until dr. says otherwise your doing all you need to do to be a great momma to be!

Re: concerened with weight
my advice, stop weighing yourself. Only weight yourself at your doctors. You'll make yourself crazy.

Re: concerened with weight
I lost 13 lbs in my 1st trimester, and I'm not overweight to begin with. My stepdaughters told me I looked scary!!!
Guess what? I didn't gain weight until I was 6 mts pregnant - and BOY did I make up for it. I gained 42 bs, and it took me almost 18 mts to lose post partum!!! I wanted to kick myself for worrying!!!
