Car Seat Installation Woes
DH and I are finding it impossible to install our Graco snugride carseat. We got it in, but it moves from side to side A LOT!!!
Anyone else have the same troubles?
My date is approaching quickly and I want to have this thing installed RIGHT!
Has anyone tried going to a firehouse for assistance?

My DH and I just went through this. He was, after a few tries able to get it secure so that it would not move. He had to put a lot of pressure down on it while installing it. They recommend putting your knee in it. Although we think it is in right, I am going to Good Sam PT dept. tomorrow to have it checked. They do car seat inspections there.

At first it did move alot, then he literally put his knee/all his weight on it & re-secured it. Not sure where you are located but on 109 they check them for free at Hassell Auto Body.

That is why they have people who install the carseats for you. Have you looked into bringing it to someone yet?

This is where I brought our truck to have the car seat installed. She showed me how to do it, so I was able to install the other base in my car myself. It was hard at first but I eventually got it really tight & secured into place.

 gosh i need to jump on installing the seat!!
we were planning to try ourselves and then bring it to a police station for them to inspect...
