car seat installation
has anyone had this done yet--for those of you who are due soon....AND does anyone know where you can get this done??

I work at a hospital in Westchester and we have a girl here who volunteers at the Police Stations. But i know most firestations and police stations have certified installers. It is so important, I can't tell you how horrific the videotape is that they show. It is a really educational experience.

You can check the DOT/DMV website. They list some of the locations/sites who help with proper installation.

There are some Auto Body shops that are certified as well. I had a small fender bender a few weeks ago and when I went to get the car fixed, a very pregnant woman was there getting her seat installed.. Maybe check the yellow pages or FM me and I will give you the address of the guy I saw..

I remember reading that there is someone who inspects the car seart installation at Stony Brook hospital...but that was over 2yrs ago when my son was born...not sure if they still do it.

You can call the New York State Police at 1-631-756-3300. They are located in Farmingdale on Rt 110.
