I think I paid arround $100 for all my meds: Gonal, Menopur, Ganirelix, prednsione and antibiotics for my DH. Syringe kit was $10 I think. I used Freedom and they were great. They do free overnight. FYI-They will only ship to where someone can sign for it. One time i had it shipped to my friends house and her babysitter signed it for me

I used Freedom Pharmacy. I didn't really have a co-pay, but I got the meds at a discounted price. So out of pocket per cycle cost me approximately $225. Syringes were also free

Re: If your medications were covered by insurance...
Your co-pays depend on your insurance plan. Most of these meds are going to be the brand (except for the steroid and the anti-biotics), so whatever your highest co-pay amount is will probably be the amount per different drug. Our co-pays for the brand drugs are $50 and generic is $10. So, you really cannot compare to anyone else, its based on your pharmacy plan. But, I find Freedom Pharmacy to be excellent to deal with and they throw in the syringes, alcohol wipes, sterile gauze and sharps containers like everyone says. Ask for extra alcohol wipes and gauze, I always run out. And if you fill your sharps container up, you can call them for an additional one. They will ship it Fed Ex at no cost to you.
Good luck.

Not for IVF, but for the Gonal-F and Cetrotide... $5 each box.
Surprisingly, the progesterone supps were the most expensive thing! I think they were like $20 for a 2 week supply.

That's true. My insurance is the same as yours- 10 for generic and 50 for brand name.

Re: If your medications were covered by insurance...
I was a dope and chose the basic option for bcbs - there are two plans, basic and standard. Basic has lower premiums, but higher copays. When I signed up, of course I had no idea I'd be traveling down the IVF road.
So I got charged for every single box. For all the drugs, it cost me about $600.

Re: If your medications were covered by insurance...
My first round of meds I paid just under $200. My second round of meds came from the insurance company pharmacy and I paid around $52.00.

Re: If your medications were covered by insurance...
Well, then for Gonal-f, Menopur, anit-biotic, steroid (can't remember the names anymore), progesterone, trigger (ovidrell or hCG), ganirelix and estrogen patches...I think I paid total $174 or $244 (or something like that, which is kinda weird and not an even # right). The ovidrell was $44 and my co-pay was $50 so I paid that outright. But, that was the entire cycle.

I already have the antibiotics- they were $10 for each bottle (4 pills for me, 4 for DH).
I will need Menopur, Dexamethasone (the steroid), HCG, progesterone suppositories, and ganirelix.
