Questions about CM (warning: will make you laugh or get squeemish!)

I know CM is important but I am a bit confused how to "test" or measure it. Should I be "finger sampling" every day? do i just stick as far as I can and see what i get? just wipe and look at the tissue? are there certain times of the day to check?

and cervix position...can i really check that too? i just get the sense that i would have to be some sort of contortionist to be able to reach my cervix.

sorry for the graphic gruesome questions. even if you can't help with the answers, hopefully i gave you a good laugh!

(i spoke to someone today to has been trying for a year and just found out she is pregnant. she said she just checked her CM (on tissue after wiping) and that was it. so of course, now i am intrigued)

i know it's kind of confusing, but yes- CM is a great indicator of oncoming ovulation.

I wait until about 10 days in before I start paying attention but that's just me.

I do both- wiping and going up there because sometimes unless you do #2 the CM doesn't come down to where you could see it on toilet paper.

I can sort of monitor cervical position but it took me a long while to get used to what it felt like- mainly I just notice that my cervix is "further away" when i'm getting ready to ovulate...

i'm a little confused too about all this CM stuff...what should I be looking for exactly?

I know nothing about cervix, but a little about CM. You are looking for CM that looks like egg whites, stretchy, watery and clear. When it gets whiteish, you are past Ovulation. For some women you can see the CM just by wiping, some women need to go a little further.
