now with pics *when dying your own hair...how long do you wait
after washing and before dying?
I normally go 2 days...
product free...which is hard since I have a mop.
washed this AM...product free now, I would love to dye tonight so I can look decent tomorrow with products...
am I making it up in my head that its better to wait to let your hair get dirty?

I think you will be fine to do dye it tonight.
I am not sure if you really need to wait. The only reason I do is because I wash my hair in the morning and tend to dye my hair in the evening.

I never thought about it! If I woke up and wanted to dye it, I did. Never had a problem tho.

i always tried to wait at least a few hours - i never dyed freshly washed hair, but if it's been dry all day then i think you will be fine.

ehhh..just dyed it. I think it came out okay, but still wet.
DH rarely sees my hair as a frizzy mop...I wanted to get it done before he comes home from work.
I washed it at 7:15 AM...so dyed it at 5 PM...hopefully it was long enough..

not great, but not bad for 14.00
i have tons of grays!!!!!
