I have to wait all weekend now
So I havent slept all night because i had anxiety over if my transfer was going to be today or monday. well its monday but everything still looks great! my little embies are growing away the dr said. but now ill have anxiety all weekend waiting for monday to come. i just want to be in my 2ww already cause then that means im closer to getting PG
so is there a better chance ill have twins because im doing a 5 day and putting two embryos back in?

Not sure about the twins.. but good luck tara!
I'm in the 2WW and already feel like these 2 weeks are going to drag! I can't wait for you to join me in the 2WW and hopefully we can keep each other company!

Good Luck on Monday !...Just to keep you prepared , in case the same thing that happened to me happens to you....They had thought I may have been a candidate for OHSS due to retrieving 27 eggs...I too was bumped to a 5 day transfer and all along our plan was to transfer 2 embies ..When transfer day came, Dr.Sung ( RSOFNY) highly reccomended that we only transfer one embie because, should I have gotten pg ( which I did  ) , OHSS can be heightened and not only rsik a pg. loss, but would have put my own health at risk...Also my embie was a hatching blast and Dr. was very confident it would take ...I was so torn, because I had it in my head that we were transferring 2 and felt like I was decreasing my success odds ( which she said would only decrease my odds by 2%)...Once my DH heard my life would be at risk, there was no arguing with doctor and we transferred one which I am now pg. with a singleton- and I am so happy that I listened to her...We also ended up with 3 , day 5 & 6 day blast frosties.....Luckily I escaped any ill side-effects of OHSS...I just wanted to give you a heads up in case for some reason you are faced with the same situation ( at the time I was devestated and then came to my senses very quickly ) Hopefully I didnt just give you something to go crazy about, it may not be the case for you- but because I wish someone had told me, I'm telling you  Feel good !

thank you for your honesty im so worried now about all of this! how do they know if they should go forth with my transfer come monday? just by a sono? i feel better im not as bloated and in so much pain as before. i have a lot of gas that just feels stuck but im feeling my self again slowly. this ivf jounery never stops huh?! thanks again for the info! my dr is calling me tomorrow so i will make sure to ask what he thinks is best

Your welcome ....Because I didnt exhibit any of the "typical" symptoms of OHSS- not in a lot of pain , no major weight increase etc...., they were more concerened that I would develop it after the transfer ( especially should I get pg. - since the increase in the HCG hormone apparently affects the OHSS) so for me, not going forward with the transfer was never discussed since I lacked the symptoms...I would think, they would do a sono prior to, hopefully some of the ladies that have faced it could give some better insight on this .... for you !!!!!!

The fact that you didn't gain any weight is GREAT news!!! If your ovaries are only a bit swollen as you say...you should be set for a transfer.
You may have just had a milder case...so I don't think you'll have to wait.

Best of luck. I did a single embryo 5dt and got PG on the first IVF. Any time more than 1 embie is tranferred there is a chance of multiples. If you are at risk for OHSS, it can get worse if you become pregnant and especially with twins. You can discuss these concerns with your RE.
