POAS - 1st lesson

Like an idiot , I POAS this morning and AF is not due till next Saturday and I think I O'ed ( I tested my CM , not using an O kit) this past Sunday SO even if I was prego , it won't show for at least another week SO it was a BFN.

I guess I needed to POAS to learn a little lesson in patience .

How long should I wait to POAS , I keep hearing conflicting information ? Should I wait till the first day of my missed period or 2 days before? I want to save myself as much disappoinment as possible since this is my first month and I know it could take months

ITA it's a little bit longer to wait but at least you can be more confident in your results!

Thanks , that's what I thought after I got my PFN this morning.
DH afterwards said to me " did you read the box because it says up to 4 days before your missed period , don't torture yourself "

I try to wait until the day that af is due, but on occassion I've been known to test at about 13dpo. That seems to be the magic # around here. To avoid disappointment, I'd really recommend waiting until she's late, but if that's just not possible then I'd say wait until 12 or 13dpo Chat Icon Good luck!

I have absolutely NO self control. I am only CD25 and POAS at least 4 times already. I will go broke if I keep this up. Chat Icon

Re: POAS - 1st lesson

I always start around 11 DPO, because I can't hold out. I would try for 13 DPO if possible.
