Question about 3 HR Glucose Test
Do they let you leave in btwn blood samples? The lab is literally around the block from my house, and it would be nice to go home in btwn instead of sitting there.

My lab (Sunrise) doesn't but I think if you feel nauseous/light-headed they let you sit in your car...Quest didn't let me do that the first time

I dont think they do because they will watch you to make sure you are feeling ok (especially since you cant eat and they are taking your blood every hour)
When I did mine they had a special room near where they draw the blood for you to sit and they would check on me every 30 min or so to see if I was feeling ok.
Best thing to do is bring a few magazines or a book with you

No. I had to stay at Quest. I read 2/3rds of a really good book (The Double Bind). They don't want you to do anything that will alter your results.
My SIL swears she got to leave, but I don't even think she is talking about the right test

My lab didnt, but if I really wanted to sneak out I could've the place is huge and they didnt come looking for me once...lol most places dont let you leave though

Yes but I had it at my Dr office, I felt so lousy I sat in the car and threw it all up in the second hour.
