WWYD??
I just had my first Sono today and saw the sac... Everything looked good so far.. as well as my blood work that doubled perfectly to the exact #.. Now being the sick worrying mental case that I am.. I have to wait till monday to see the next Sono .. I feel I cant wait.. I really want to do one more beta in between.. I can call my regular OBGYN and tell him I want him to do it or I can call my RE and ask him.. I know I am being crazy but I think it would help me calm down... I just have to see that those #'S ARE DOING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO..
Would any one else do this??
ETA: I hope its ok to post here and not pregnancy.. I am just really not there yet.. I still have too many IF issues.. I love you guys so much..

Call for another beta...any Dr that deals with this sort of thing HAS to understand!

Re: WWYD??
Call for the beta. If your RE won't do it go to your OBGYN.

Re: WWYD??
you can call for another beta, but I will caution you that your beta will rise b/c of the tissue growing (placenta), as well as the embryo. (this happened with my chemical pregnacy last year). I'm not trying to be a downer, I just wanted you to know something I didn't and I was shocked by!
for you! I hope all is well for you!

Do you think if I was having a chemical there would still be a sac? Would that mean the sac is empty? how fqar up did your beta #'s go?

Re: WWYD??
I had a sac, but there was nothing in it. Please don't read into my experience too much, i just wanted you to be informed, I was not.
My numbers doubled for awhile and then slowed down, i honestly don't remember what they got too, not even with the last one that I made to 11 weeks, I'm sure I can go back and look it up, but it's kind of painful to read.
You'll be ok! I know it's hard, try to have patience, you will be fine.

Re: WWYD??
I also wouldn't do anything until next week. It's going to be what it is going to be...no matter how many tests you have. The most important thing will be seeing the heartbeat....focus on that. Betas aren't going to tell you the viability of the pregnancy...the sono's are the only thing that do that. It's why the RE's switch over to sono's at this point.

Re: WWYD??
I remember that painful wait in between betas and the first sono. Hang in there! Maybe taking HPT's could help you feel better that you are still PG.

ITA. I know it's torture to you but I would wait for sure. Unfortunately it's all a waiting game now. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear D.

Re: WWYD??
It's hard waiting for more info. when you have gone through IF. We get so used to everything be constantly measured that we find it a comfort. Hold out for the u/s unless you think something is going wrong. Just wait until your RE releases you to your OB! You think you are waiting now....you will see the OB once per month and that wait really feels like forever! Plus, you may get an 8w sono there but then you wait for the 12w ultrascreen!
